An Elegant Elopement at Forest Grove

Kristine & Warren said "I do" among the trees at Ceremonies at Forest Grove — and it's a day that will live rent free in our memories for a while. From the moment we started planning with them, it was clear this wasn't going to be a typical elopement. Every guest was dressed head to toe in black, a bold and beautifully considered choice that turned Forest Grove's natural, dappled light into the perfect backdrop for something that felt more like a fashion editorial than a wedding — elegant, moody, and completely their own.

But for all the styling and sophistication, the most memorable part of the day had nothing to do with the aesthetic. Kristine & Warren made space within their ceremony to honour the family members who couldn't be there with them. It was a reminder of what these ceremonies are really about: love, in all its forms, held and witnessed exactly as a couple needs it to be.

Bianca from Say I Do Ceremonies led the pair through vows that felt every bit as personal as the day looked, while Leah McLean was behind the camera capturing it all — from the first look through to a reception detail nobody forgets in a hurry: a full champagne tower, glasses cascading with bubbles as the toasts began. The florals, from Our Flower Bar, tied the whole look together in deep, moody tones that matched the all-black dress code perfectly.

Thank you Kristine & Warren for trusting us with a day that was so unmistakably you — thoughtful, elegant, and full of heart. Here's to many more years of the same. 🖤✨
